p.505 – The dates of the 1926 Trial should read 30 th April/1 st May. The error arose due to late reports appearing in The Autocar and The Motor Cycle, after the General Strike, which both gave the impression that the Trial had just taken place. The Motor report, which was correct, was published just prior to the Strike.
