“BRITISH TRIAL DRIVERS THEIR CARS & AWARDS 1929 – 1939” – the book covers the three Motor Cycling Club classic Trials (cars were admitted) – the “Land’s End”, the “Edinburgh” and the “Exeter” together with the MCC ‘July’ Rallies/Trials, the ‘Sporting’ Trial and the ‘Land’s End to John o’ Groats Run; also including the ‘London – Gloucester’ Trial; the ‘Brighton – Beer’; the ‘Colmore’ Trial and the car entries in the Scottish Six Days’. All of the drivers and their cars are listed for each of the events together with the individual awards which they received. Also included are similar details regarding the British drivers who competed in the International Alpine Trials. The recipients of the coveted MCC ‘Triple Award’ are also listed – an award first introduced in 1928.
